So we decided to find out. Kim Tat (the fat dude) went to buy diet coke, while wan Reza (the one with Mentos) went to 7-11 to buy Mentos. Then it's chemistry lab time. We finished our solubility experiments in only 1 hour.

Then, Miss Cheong (the one between them) brought us to the carpark to do this experiment, which she wanted to find out herself too.

So the experiment was done.

WAA!!! the myth was true!!

But i'm still not satisfied. So i went back and check Wikipedia and Youtube for videos on these reactions. Found out that for bigger "explosions", more Mentos (like 5-8) was needed. I think we only used a couple of them.

Besides, stated in Wiki, "...whereas standard Mentos added to carbonated water formed a small geyser..." , so i guess ours is still not a success...

I'll gonna tell Miss Cheong about that and hopefully she'll be tempted to do it again...MUAHAHAHA!!!

saw this cool stuff in Lewis' Paradise, so i decided to try it out.

The results:

63% like nicholas Tze, 59% like Alison Lohman, Michael Bloomberg, Vivian Hsu, Sharon Stone and Takeshi Kitano, 58% like Neve Campbell and 57% like J.K.Rowling.

First of all, 5 out of 8 is girl!!! Do i look that girlish? hey, this is one of my most "man" pic le...And Vivian hsu again!!! Do I look that horny to you?

And i thought i entered 1989 when they asked the year i was born. Why is there two old guys as my look-alike?

Not reli satisfied, i try again. And my results are...

Now, they say i look 68% like Lee Hom and Stephen Chou. And although there's a sharp decrease in the number of women, the only women appeared is also someone like Vivian Shu...more "experienced" some more...And what does that afro dude have that resembles me???

So i tried again. More means consistent, right?

The third one i got looks like this:

This time, Lee Hom and Nicholas Tze also inside, but so is Takeshi Kitano.

So, the conclusion is, i will grow up to look like either Lee Hom or Nicholas Tze and will grow old looking like a japanese apek. If I'm a woman, I will look kinda cute. If I existed in the black and white era, i will look like Gavin Rossdale and Sean Lennon. And if I'm a porn star, I will ended up singing and acting because of my history in the "filming" industry.

Then i used different pic:

WAA!!! Bae Yong-Jun!!! I guess i cant run from the fact that i do look like a girl or Nicholas Tze..... 0.0

Oh well...this is juz for fun. Those who read this post, hopefully you'll try it out...i wanna see which celebrity you resemble!!!

P.S. : To try, go to Face Recognition on the menu above, then "celebrities" on the left menu and then click Find the celebrity in you.
Note: For the first 3 pics, i used the same pic (DUH!!!) but i cropped them seperately. Means the pic is not of same measurement each time. If not, the results will be quite the same.

I will appreciate my time in church fully now...

Why?

what will you do if you had to walk for 15 minutes each time wanna go to church?

going + mass + go back + dinner = 15+ 60+ 15+ 15
.....................................................= 105 minutes
.....................................................= 1 hour 45 minutes
.....................................................= almost 2 hours
.....................................................= there goes my evening...

I'm not complaining about the church...but i spend 30 minutes walking along side a very busy busy road on Sunday evening...

What if i get knocked down by a car?
What if i was killed?
What if my parents get sad?
What if everyone missed me?

Worse of all....

Wat if i can't update my blog and reader(s) cant enjoy it anymore???

anyway, that's not the point of this post. Holy Redeemer Church. More like a chapel.

I still remember when i asked around for the church...

Me...........................: .Auntie, can you tell me where the Catholic church is?
Auntie on a bicycle: There's a big one nearby his area, while a small one ...................................is further. Which one is Catholic, I'm not sure.

P.S: we're conversing in Chinese. Which Auntie on a bike can speak fluent English like what i typed?

Back to the story, so i searched for the "bigger" and nearer church ( DUH!!!)

then i reached...

-.-'''

It's about the size of the chapel in front of the St. Anthony's Church back in Bintulu!!!

That one also call big ah?

I wonder what the "smaller" one looks like...

Anyway, i managed to take a picture of the interior. Hope nobody there thinks I'm a spy...

I'm sitting at the back, so u can estimate the size of the church.

WHOA!!! First time i see a Catholic church with a "special effect" behind the cross...

I never noticed before because they covered the cross and other pictures of Jesus with purple cloth, since the start of Lent. Weird. In Bintulu, they did it only after Holy Thursday.

Anyway, it's kinda modern for a Catholic church, with the slides and everything. The song's lyrics will appear on it with prayers too. But here, people don't have any books for the readings, and even though with the available projectory, it's still not shown.

Sad to say, there are more Catholics in Qatar than here. I think the numbers of people going to the evening mass ( 3rd out of 3) can fill up the 3 front row seats of St. Anthony church.

Oh well. Like the saying goes, Bleat when entering a sheep's barn, Moo when entering a cow's barn.

I think most of you know this is The Lord's Prayer, or also be called as The Our Father:

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be thy name
Thy Kingdom come
Thy will be done
On earth as it is in Heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
And forgive us our trespasses
As we forgive those who trespass against us
And lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil.

Amen

Then suddenly, i came across this verse:

Yo, Big Daddy Upstairs,
You be chillin'
So be yo hood
You be sayin' it; I be doin' it
In dis hood and in Yo's
Gimme some eats
And cut me some slack
So's I be doin' it to dem dat diss me
Don't be pushin' me into no jive
And keep dem Crips away.

AAAAmen.

At first i feel like it's an insult, but later, i realized that it may be juz another language to talk to God.

The Nigga language...

Probably those rappers who are used to the way of speaking, decided to go to pray, and cant get used to the proper way, so they pray in their own way...

It's still down to how you look at it. If you think it's an insult, then it is. But if you think it's juz another "language", then it is.

Imagine P.Diddy praying...

Yesterday, Max and i went to KL city. He wanted to meet his fren, so i juz tag along so that i know the route that i should take if i wanna go to KL myself. So after reaching KL Sentral ( the main train station), a fren of his, Chai picked us up, went driving the wrong road, and ended up him having to pay additional RM1 for toll fees. Then he drove us to another's fren's apartment. So I went into his apartment, and sit down. Looking around, i noticed he have lots and lots of computer hardware lying here and there.

Then Chai left for some business, so Max's another fren drove us to have lunch, then went to Giant supermarket for a while, then went back to his apartment, where i watched "The Crash of the Century" on Discovery Channel.

During commercial, i looked around his house and saw a book being displayed in a shelf, together with it's stand. the title " Breaking Through the BIOS Barrier : The Definitive BIOS Optimization Guide for PCs". By Adrian Wong.

Then Max told me " it's written by him( Max's another friend)

So "his another friend" is Adrian Wong.

Dr. Adrian Wong.

Adrian Wong is a graduate doctor who works in the computing world now. Although i never heard of him before, but for someone who can publish a book, muz be an expert in his field.

Written on top of the book is :
"Adrian knows more about tweaking a BIOS than Bill Gates knows about Windows" - Digital Dave, WinOSCentral.com

WHOA!!! muz be super expert in his field.

Then it juz came to my realization : A famous guy in computing world actually drove me around, paid for my lunch and allowed me to watch his tv and sat on his sofa.

We even celebrate Max's birthday together at Starbucks with some other of his frens.

Not bad, huh?
